Dr. Shilpi Saha: Digital Trust for Healthcare

When building a website for a doctor, the most important thing isn't flashy animations—it's trust and clarity. For Dr. Shilpi Saha, I focused on creating a digital space that feels calm, professional, and incredibly easy to navigate. Patients are often stressed when they're looking for a doctor; the last thing they need is a confusing website.

The Focus

I wanted to make sure that a patient could find exactly what they needed—whether it was the doctor's qualifications, the clinic’s location, or a way to book an appointment—in under 10 seconds. I spent a lot of time on typography and spacing to make sure the information is easy to read, especially on mobile devices.

What I prioritized:

• Clarity: No medical jargon on the main pages. Just clear, helpful information.
• Ease of Access: I placed the "Book Appointment" buttons in obvious spots so patients don't have to hunt for them.
• Speed: The site loads instantly, which is crucial when someone is searching for help on a slow connection.

The Build

I kept the design minimalist and professional, using a clean color palette that feels "medical" without being cold.

Features

• Simplified Booking: I built a straightforward way for patients to request appointments.
• Responsive Layout: It works perfectly on phones, which is where most patients are doing their searching.
• SEO Foundation: I made sure the site is optimized so that local patients can find Dr. Shilpi Saha when they search for her specialty.

The Tech

I used Next.js to build a fast and reliable frontend. Tailwind CSS allowed me to keep the design clean and consistent. For the backend, I used Supabase to manage the content, ensuring the site is easy for the clinic staff to update if their hours or services change.

Status

This is a live professional project that serves as the primary digital office for Dr. Shilpi Saha.
