Internet World: Simplifying the Web for Everyone

Building a website for an ISP (Internet Service Provider) is a unique challenge. ISP sites are usually a mess of technical jargon, confusing pricing tables, and cluttered layouts. For Internet World, I wanted to do the opposite. I built a platform that makes choosing an internet package as simple as ordering a pizza.

The Strategy

I focused on "The User's Journey." Most people just want to know two things: How fast is it? and How much does it cost? I designed the entire site around these two questions. I replaced complex technical sheets with clean, visual cards that explain exactly what you're getting.

What I achieved:

• Jargon-Free UI: I moved all the heavy technical specs to the background and kept the main pages focused on user benefits.
• Smart Package Picker: I built an intuitive way for users to compare packages without getting overwhelmed.
• Inquiry Spike: After the new site launched, the company saw a significant increase in service inquiries, proving that a simpler UI leads to more customers.

The Implementation

I wanted the site to feel "fast," just like the internet service they provide.

The Storefront

• Clean Comparisons: I built a custom component that lets users compare the speeds and prices of different broadband packages side-by-side.
• Instant Support: I integrated a way for users to quickly get in touch with the support team or request a new connection.
• Mobile Optimization: I made sure the site is incredibly light so it loads fast even if someone’s current internet is acting up.

The Tech

I used Next.js for the frontend because it’s the king of speed. Tailwind CSS gave me the tools to build a sharp, modern UI that stands out from other ISPs. For the backend, I used Supabase (PostgreSQL) to manage the package data and user inquiries.

Status

This is a live commercial project that has completely transformed the digital presence for Internet World.
