Krypta Ark

Krypta Ark

A high-octane gymwear platform where speed was the top priority. I implemented aggressive caching and image optimization to ensure that even on slow mobile networks, the brand's aesthetic remains uncompromised.

Description:

Krypta Ark: Performance Gymwear at High Speed

When I built Krypta Ark, the focus was entirely on performance—both for the athletes wearing the gear and for the website itself. In the world of fitness, speed matters. I wanted to make sure that someone looking for new gymwear could find what they needed and check out before they even finished their set.

The Challenge

Gymwear brands rely heavily on high-impact visuals. Usually, that makes sites slow. I took it as a challenge to keep the site "lightning fast" while still showing off those high-res action shots. I used aggressive caching and image optimization to make it happen.

What I focused on:

  • Mobile-First: Most people are browsing gymwear while at the gym or on the go. The mobile experience is flawless.
  • Instant Search: You shouldn't have to wait to find your size or style. The search is near-instant.
  • Bulletproof Backend: I built a custom inventory system that handles high-traffic drops without breaking a sweat.

The Build

I wanted the UI to feel "high-octane"—bold typography, dark theme, and sharp lines.

The Shopping Experience

  • Fast Checkout: I minimized the steps needed to buy. If you know what you want, you can be done in seconds.
  • Product Discovery: I built a filtering system that lets you sort by fit, fabric, and activity without any page refreshes.

The Management Side

I built a dashboard for the Krypta team that lets them manage their drops. They can:

  • Set "drop times" for new collections.
  • Monitor live traffic and sales during a launch.
  • Manage complex inventory across multiple warehouses.

The Tech

The foundation is Next.js for that incredible speed. I used Tailwind CSS for the styling and Supabase to handle the data. The whole thing is hosted on Vercel, ensuring it stays up even during the busiest sale days.

Status

This is a live project and the official platform for Krypta Ark gymwear.
